4 c. half & half
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
3 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 (10 oz.) loaf dry French bread, torn into bite-sized pieces
1 c. raisins
1 c. coconut, shredded
1 c. pecans, chopped

Whiskey Sauce:
1 1/3 c. confectioner's sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg yolk
1/4 c. whiskey

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the half & half, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon & nutmeg in a bowl & mix well. Stir in bread, raisins, coconut & pecans. Spoon into a buttered 9 x13 in. baking pan. Bake at 350 for 1 1/4 hours or until golden brown & set. Do not over bake. Spoon into dessert bowls. Drizzle with the warm Whiskey Sauce.

Whiskey Sauce: Combine the confectioner's sugar & butter in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir a small amount of the hot mixture into the egg yolk, stir the egg yolk into the hot mixture. Add the whiskey gradually, stirring constantly. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
