Basic White Sauce
Butter
Flour
Milk, half & half, or Cream
Salt
Pepper

You may add any one of the following ingredients to make a meal or serve as a sauce with meats or to creme vegetables.

1 can cleaned, Red Salmon.

Frozen,thawed, Peas and left over cut up Turkey or Chicken

1 package chopped Chipped Beef

1 Can drained Tuna

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter add equal amount of flour to hot sauce pan or skillet. Stir in milk, and or cream. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Cook 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add any other ingredients at this time. The sauce will continue to get thick while cooling. If it does not get thick replace on heat and add additional butter/flour mix and resume heat while stirring. When desired thickness is achieved, add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve over Toast or noodles. Or use Basic White Sauce with Chicken Fried Steak, Chicken or Pork Chop and Pork Steaks,
