1 lb package dry, great northern beans
2 peeled, grated carrots
4 stalks chopped celery
1 chopped onion
4 beef bouillons
1/2 diced turkey ham
1/2 tsp black pepper
water

Directions:
Directions:
Place beans in a large bowl, cover with water, and soak overnight. The next morning, drain beans, place in large pot, cover with water, add bouillons and pepper, and heat on high heat until boiling, then reduce heat to med. Simmer for 3 hours. Add vegetables and turkey ham. Simmer for 3 to 5 hours. Serve with johnny cake.
