3 cups hot, cooked & mashed turnip
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 beaten eggs
3 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. baking powder
bread crumbs and paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Combine turnip, butter, eggs, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and pepper. Mix well until blended. Put in well buttered casserole, top with tabs of butter and a thin layer of bread crumbs. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 375F for 25 minutes uncovered.
