1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
2 packages semi-sweet chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, salt, water and butter. Cook to light crack stage - 285. Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.

Pour onto well greased cookie sheet. Cook.

Melt chocolate. Spread 1/2 on top. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup walnuts. Cool. Turn. Spread with remaining chocolate. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup nuts.

Makes about 2 dozen pieces.
