2 cups white sugar
1 cup Karo
1/2 cup water
1 lb. raw peanuts (2 cups)
2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first three ingredients at 240º F. Add the peanuts and cook to hard crack - 300º F.

Add baking soda- remove quickly from heat and beat soda into candy.

Pour onto greased cookie sheets - spread with wooden spoon. Break into pieces. Makes 2 lbs.

If I remember correctly, helping grandma make this, you will need a jelly roll pan, the cookie sheet with sides, and a little hammer to break it up. I think she used a little crab cracker or meat mallet.
