2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
32 oz. spaghetti sauce
8-10 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
16 oz. mozzarella cheese
large carton cottage cheese
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1/2 cup water.

Directions:
Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce. (May add additional seasonings if desired) Simmer 30 minutes.
Combine cottage cheese and parsley. Layer in 9x13 inch pan in the following order: 1/3 of meat sauce; 1/2 of the dry noodles; 1/2 of the cottage cheese parsley mixture; 1/2 of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers ending with last 1/3 of the meat sauce. Top with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Cover with foil and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Just before baking, pour one cup of water around the edge. Bake covered for one hour @ 350 then uncovered for additional 15-20 minutes. Allow to stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
