1 c. white sugar
3 c. Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped (about 2 1/2 medium apples)
2 c. fresh cranberries (about 1/2 bag)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tbsp. flour (for thickening)

Topping:
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. quick cook oats (not instant)
1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine white sugar, apples, cranberries, lemon juice, and flour in a casserole dish that has been lightly greased. Mix until fruit is coated and flour is evenly distributed.

Melt butter in microwave and add brown sugar, oats, and flour. Spoon over top of casserole, completely covering fruit mixture. Bake at 300 degrees for one hour or until fruit juices are bubbling up over sides of topping.
