1/2 c. lukewarm water
2 c. milk. scalded
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. lard
1 Tbsp. salt
2 eggs.
8-9 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Put yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water, let soak until it rises up. Bring milk to boiling, then pour over lard, sugar and salt. Mix, then add eggs. Mix in 5 cups flour, then add yeast mixture. Add enough flour to dough so it isn’t too sticky (about 3 more cups). Cover bowl, let rise until doubled in size. Make into rolls. Let rise again. Bake at 425° for 25-30 minutes.
