2 c Butter
2 c Sugar
2-1/4 c Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
4 Eggs
6 c Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter,sugar and eggs. Add baking soda and make into a dough. You can then roll into a log, refrigerate and can be sliced into 1/4" slices.
Place on a cookie sheet and brush each slice with beaten egg mixture. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture.

Bake @ 350º for 10 min.

Theses can also be rolled out and cut with cookie cutters and then brushed w/egg mixture and sprinkled with cinnamon & sugar.

Grandma Blanche and I (Mom too) would make these every year at Christmas time. I always got to do the decorating. Great memories.
