1 can french onion soup
1-1/2 Ibs. ground beef
1/2 cup dried bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
Sauce:

remaining 2/3 can of soup
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1 Tblsp. worchestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. mustard powder

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together 1/3 condensed soup with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Shape into 6 oval patties. In a large skillet, brown both sides of patties. Pour off excess fat. In a small bowl, whisk remaining soup and flour until smooth. Mix in ketchup, water, worchestershire sauce, and mustard powder. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Suggestion: double the gravy to have enough to pour over your mashed potatoes. YUM!!!
