Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1/4 cup olive oil
4 - 8 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup onion, chopped
1 tsp each of: basil, oregano, parsley, and rosemary
2 bay leaves
4 sprigs thyme, if you have them


1 24 oz can tomato sauce
1 24 or 36 oz tomato paste
1 can crushed tomatoes

Meatballs:

2 tbsp olive oil
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup grated romano cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
3/4 cup italian bread crumbs
2 tbsp dried parsley flakes, (3-4 fresh parsley)
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup milk
1 1/4 lb. ground beef
3/4 lb. ground turkey or pork

Meatball Spice mix:

1 Tbsp each of: salt, pepper, ground allspice
1 tsp each of: nutmeg and cinnamon

Directions:
For Sauce: Sauté and heat through and then add: tomato sauce, tomato paste and crushed tomatoes.

Meatballs: Mix all together in a large bowl and roll into balls. Bake on cookie sheet at 350 for 20 - 25 minutes
