2 lb. steak, chopped or stew meat
1/4 cup butter
2 pkg lipton onion soup mix
1 can beef broth
1 cup water
fresh or canned mushrooms, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat on all sides in butter until brown. Season to taste. Add onion soup mix, broth and water (mushrooms if desired). Simmer uncovered for about an hour, stirring frequently. Liquid will reduce to a caramelized glaze. Serve over noodles.

This recipe came about on accident in Jeff's early days of cooking. ie forgetting about something on the stove.
