1 lb. ground steak
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup flour
2 cups water
1 large carrot, diced
1 medium onion, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 package mixed frozen vegetables
2 T. beef granules
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and stir in flour. Gradually add 2 cups of water and stir until smooth. Add the rest of the water and other ingredients, except steak. Brown and drain steak, then add to soup. Simmer 1 1/4 hours or until the vegetables are tender.
