Smother Chicken Casserole Recipe

6-8 chicken breasts, boneless, cut in half length-
6-8 slices bacon
6 oz. sour cream
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1-1/4 cups whole milk
1/4 cup white wine (optional)
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1 pkg or jar (3 oz.) dried beef

Wrap 1 strip of bacon around each piece of chicken breast. Line sprayed 9x13" baking dish with cut up dried beef. Place bacon wrapped chicken breasts on top.

In a bowl, combine sour cream, soup, milk, wine, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken.

Bake covered with foil at 300 for 2 hours. Uncover and bake 25 minutes longer.

Great served with rice.
