2 yeast cakes
1 c. warm water
9 T. Sugar
Flour - approx 6 c.
2 c. scalded milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. melted margerine or butter
2 tsp cinnamon
2/3 c. stick margerine or butter
1 c. dark brown sugar
4 T. dark Karo syrup
Nuts (pecans are the best!)

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add 1 T sugar & approximately 2 c. flour. Mix, and let rise 1 hour.

Add cooled milk, eggs, melted margerine, 4 T sugar & enough flour to make a soft dough. Rise again until double.

Roll out on floured board into 2 14-inch rectangles. Spread with melted margerine & sprinkle approx 4 T sugar & 2 tsp cinnamon.

Roll tightly (as for jelly roll) and cut into approx 1 inch sections.

Meanwhile, in the bottom of 2 13x9x2 pans, melt 1/3 c. margerine in each pan. Add 1/2 dark brown sugar & 2 T dark Karo syrup in each pan. Mix until syrupy.

Add nuts & raisins to each pan. Place 1 inch sections of rolls closely together in each pan. Cover & let raise 30 minutes.

Bake at 400 approx 30 minutes, or until brown.

Remove from oven and invert each pan onto foil immediately, removing pan once done. Enjoy! YUM! YUM!

I have made these rolls for family gatherings for years, after having them at Rod & Judy's a long time ago. They are a favorite that we enjoy at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Everytime I cook them, I think of Rod & Judy and the fond, fond memories, and it brings a big old smile to my face.
