25 to 30 medium cucumbers 8 lg.white onions 2 lg. green peppers 1/2 c.salt 5 c. vinegar 5 c. sugar 2 T. mustard seed 1 t. tumeric 1/2 t. cloves
Slice cucumbers as thin as possible.Chop onions and pepper,combine with cucumbers and salt,let stand 3 hours,then drain. Combine vinegar, sugar, and spices in large preserving kettle,bring to boil. Add drained cucumber,heat through but don't boil.Pack while hoe in sterilized jars and seal at once
