2 1/4 c. flour 1 1/3 c. sugar
2 t. soda 1 t. soda
1t. cinnamon 1/2 t. nutmeg
1/4 t. cloves
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sweetened applesauce
1/2 c. milk
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Beat at medium speed 2 minutes. These are the only directions I have written down, I'd probably make it the traditional way, by creaming the shortening and sugar then adding dry ingredients, then milk and applesauce.
Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes
