1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup cold butter
3 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled, sliced
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Custard:
1 cup evaporated milk
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and butter until crumbly. Press onto bottom and sides of 9" pie plate. Arrange apples over crust. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.

For custard, whisk milk, egg and sugar until smooth. Pour over apples. Bake 30 minutes longer. (Any left-overs should be refrigerated.)
