1/2 cup warm water
1 Tbsp yeast
1 Tbsp sugar, *mix with yeast & water
2 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together until soft and a little sticky. Let rise for 1 hour. Roll out to desired thickness, approximately 1/2 inch, and cut into sticks 1 1/2 inches wide. Melt 1/2 cup butter into a lipped cookie sheet. Sprinkle garlic salt (and/or dill weed or oregano) over butter. Dip bread in butter on both sides. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
