1 fryer chicken(3lbs) cut up
6 cups water
bring to boil, reduce heat; simmer until chicken is tender. cool cut into bite size pieces.
In chicken broth put 6 boullin cubes; add 2 cups chopped carrots, 1 cup chopped potatoe, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1 cup chopped celery, 1 cup frozen peas, 1 can crm mushroom soup, 2 can crm chicken soup. Put on cover and simmer on low heat 2-3 hours...you may need to add more water....season to your taste...veggies should be tender.

About 30 minutes before serving, mix up feather dumplings......2 cups flour, 4 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1 egg beaten, 2 T. butter melted and 2/3 cup milk. sift dry ingredients together add egg, melted butter and enough milk to make moist, stiff batter. Drop by teaspoons into boiling liquid. Cook, covered and do not peek, for 18 to 20 min. or until the dumplings are done. Use a glass lid then you will not have to peek.
