14 oz. package Caramels
5 oz can of evaporated milk, divided
1 German Chololate cake mix
3/4 c. melted margarine
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels with 1/3 c. evaporated milk in microwave until smooth & set aside. Mix cake mix with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk & melted margarine. Add nuts. Press half of this mixture into 9x13 pan. Bake 350 for 6-8 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked crust then spread melted caramel mixture over chips. Crumble remaining 1/2 dough over caramel layer. Bake 15-20 minutes. Cool slightly then refrigerate 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
