1 ½ cups water
1 cup ketchup
¼ cup mustard
½ cup cider vinegar
3 stalks celery (chopped)
¼ cup butter
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp onion (minced)
3 bay leaves
1 garlic clove (minced)
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp tabasco sauce
1/8 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp kosher Salt
1/8 tsp fresh ground black pepper

Mix all ingredients together and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and strain.

NOTE: No doubt in my Ex-Military mind that once you’ve had my; T. Rex’s Almost World Famous BBQ Sauce, you’ll never use that bottled crude again. I always double the batch so I have some on hand at all times.
