1 c shortening
1 c brown sugar
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 ¼- 2 c flour
1 tsp soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla
3 c oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugars, eggs until fluffy. Add dry ingredients and vanilla, mix well.
Then you may leave plain as oatmeal cookies, or
add 1 6oz package chocolate chips
or 1 cup raisens
or 1 cup peanuts
Bake at 350º for 12 to 15 minutes on a Greased cookie sheet.
