1 1/2 tsp grated ginger
3/4 tsp grated garlic
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 bunch shiso, sliced
1/4 cup lime juice
14 oz top sirloin or NY steak
pepper
2 tbs peanut oil
green onion, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, and garlic in shallow dish large enough to hold steak. Trim steak of excess fat. Season steak to taste with pepper. Sear beef on all sides in high heat (on BBQ or in frying pan). Cook to rare only. Place in marinade, turning occasionally, for at least 1 hour. Slice thin diagonally and sprinkle with green onions and shiso.
