Ingredients:
Bars:

2 cans Pillsbury© crescent rolls
2 - 8 oz. blocks cream cheese-softened to room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg yolk (save the egg white)

Topping:

1 cup sifted powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Spray a 13 x 9 pan with non-stick spray. Roll out one can of crescent rolls. Place in bottom of greased pan. Pinch edges together and push dough up the side of the pan a little bit (to hold the filling). Mix softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk with mixer until it is smooth. Spread evenly onto crescent roll. Place second can of crescent rolls on top of cream cheese mixture. Pinch edges of seams. Push all the way to the edge of pan. Brush top layer of crescent rolls with the egg white; it isn't necessary to use all of egg white; just give it a good coating. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until top is nicely browned. Let dessert cool completely. For topping, mix all ingredients with a wire whisk or mixer until smooth. Pour over cooled dessert. This dessert is good baked the day before serving and refrigerated over night. If you do this, drizzle topping over dessert right before serving.
