Chip Steak
olive oil for dipping meat
Italian Bread Crumbs Mixture (consists of grated cheese, parsley, bread crumbs, minced garlic)
Provolone cheese sliced
onion
crushed tomatoes
Bay leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Cut chip steaks into 2 inch wide squares. Dip each piece in olive oil and then in bread crumb mixture. On each piece of breaded meat add: I piece of provolone cheese, 1 piece of tomato, 1 piece of onion. Roll and put toothpick through to skewer. Between each piece of spedini in pan put a piece of onion and alternate with a bay leaf. Broil for about 5 to 10 minutes on each side.
Take bay leaves out before serving.

A patient I had also put a piece of salami inside with the cheese- this is also very good! Grandma used to make this all the time.
