Grandma's Pumpkin Pie Squares Recipe

Crust:

1 cup Flour
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine-room temp.
Mix all until crumbly (use hands)
Press into a 9X13 ungreased pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Cool.


Filling:

1 large can of Pumpkin or 2 small cans
1 can evaporated milk
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves

Directions:

Mix all together in a mixing bowl. Beat well and pour onto the crust. bake 350 for 20 minutes.

Top
Remove from oven and sprinkle the following on top;
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
Return to the oven for 15 to 20 minutes
Cool. Serve as is or with Cool Whip© or Ice Cream
