2 (28 oz.) Dei Fratelli tomato sauce
1 (28 oz.) Cento diced tomatoes or Dei Fratelli diced tomatoes
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup sugar + add as necessary
1/2 tsp. fennel seeds
10 fresh basil leaves

Meatballs:
2 lbs. ground chuck
1 cup Cento breadcrumbs
1/4 onion, chopped
1 egg
1/2 cup Romano cheese
salt
pepper

Directions:

Meatballs:
Mix all ingredients. Wet hands while mixing, and add a little water as needed to achieve the consistency you desire
Fry

Add meatballs (sausage, pork tenderloin - optional) to the sauce

Simmer for 2 1/2 - 3 hrs.

Turn off the sauce and toss in approx. 10 fresh basil leaves
