5 lb. ground chuck
2 1/2 cup chopped green and red peppers
2 1/2 cup chopped onion
3 cloves of garlic
2 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
6 (16 oz.) can kidney beans drained
3 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes (chop up more)
3 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
6 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
6 tsp. salt
6 tsp. ground cumin
6 tsp. chili powder
1 dash baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef in dutch oven.
Drain and return to pan.
Add bell pepper, onion and celery.
Saute until onion is clear (approx. 5 minutes)
Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
