1 white cake, broken into small pieces
2 cups frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup sherry
3 T custard powder
3 T sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk
1 cup whipping cream
1 T sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place cake in large clear bowl. Add sugar and sherry to berries, pour over cake. Mix custard powder, vanilla, sugar and milk in saucepan. Cook until mixture thickens. Pour over berries and cake. Beat whipping cream with remaining sugar and vanilla. Spread over mixture in bowl. Cover and chill.
