1 1/2 cups yellow Crisco
1 tablespoon cream
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups flour

Filling:
5 large Golden Delicious apples
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
about 2 tablespoons butter

Crust:
Cut Crisco, cream and salt down in bowl with a fork. Pour 1/2 cup boiling water over. Whip with fork until smooth and blended. (This looks a bit like whipped cream.) Stir in flour and keep stirring until a ball forms. Divide into four balls. Roll between 2 sheets of waxed paper. Pull top sheet off then turn over to pull the bottom sheet.

Filling:
Peel and slice apples. Mix sugar with cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Layer apples with sugar mix. Dot with butter. Place top crust and seal well. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes.
