Ingredients:  
2 cups flour
2 cups yellow cornmeal
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3 cups milk
3/4 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs.

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine until well blended and smooth. Let batter sit 5 minutes before using.

Pour batter on to waffle iron and bake until golden brown.

Excellent with barbecue or as a replacement for cornbread. Awesome as bread with a hot bowl of chili.
