5 C. flour (unsifted)
1 egg
3 tsp. vanilla extract
2 C. sugar
2 C. butter
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and stir. Add flour and vanilla. Divide dough into 6 portions and form into 6 rolls. Wrap in wax paper and freeze for several hours. Cut 3/8" slices and place it on a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 mins. Decorate as desired. This makes about 10-12 dozens.
