2 pounds cubed round steak
salt and pepper to taste
flour-to batter
grease-to fry
water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut steak in serving pieces. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Batter with flour. Put grease in frying pan. Add battered steak pieces to hot grease. Fry until brown. When all steak is fried, add 3 tablespoons flour; let brown, stirring until brown. When brown, add 2 cups water; add steak and let simmer for 30 minutes.
