1 1/3C. (8 oz.) dry orzo pasta
3 quarts water
2 tsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning(blend of marjoram,thyme,rosemary, savory, sage, oregano and basil)
1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Bring the 3 qts. of water to a rolling boil. Add orzo pasta to water and stir. Return to a boil and cook, uncovered, 9 to 11 minutes. For best results, avoid overcooking. Remove from heat and drain well into colander. Pour drained pasta serving bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Toss gently and serve as a side dish accompaniment as you would any other pasta.
