1 cube butter
1 qt or equal of canned, sliced peaches, drained (save juice)
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. In a 7" x 11" baking dish, cube butter and place in oven until melted. Drain peaches, measure juice to 3/4 c., set aside. In a mixing bowl add sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Add peach juice and stir until smooth. Pour batter over the top of the butter, spread sliced peaches evenly over the top of the batter. Bake for 30 to 45 mins until golden brown.
