Ingredients:  
1 C Crisco tsp salt
2 C brown sugar 4 tsp soda
2 eggs 2 tsp cinnamon
C molasses 2 tsp ginger
3 to 4 C flour 1 tsp cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and molasses.
Beat well. Add spices, salt and soda mix thoroughly. Add
flour and mix well. Dough should be sticky. Chill well. Roll
into balls approximately. 1 in diameter. Roll balls in white sugar.
( I use raw sugar) Bake at 325 for 10 to 13 minutes. Do not
over bake. Cookies are done when they cracked on top, but not
brown. Enjoy!
