Mix:
1/4 c. tomato soup
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. uncooked rice
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. minced onion
1 tsp. salt

Shape into balls about 1 1/2 inch in diameter - about 16. Brown in 2 tbsp. shortening in large skillet. Blend in the rest of the can of soup and 1 c. water, cover. Simmer about 40 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir now and then.
