2 1/2 c. Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 c. Shortening
2 Eggs separated
Milk (see mixing instructions for amount)
1 1/2 c. crushed Corn Flakes
8 Medium Apples
1 c. Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

Glaze:
1 1/4 c. Powdered Sugar
3 tsp. water
1/2 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and salt in a bowl mix together. Cut shortening into the mixture. In a separate bowl beat egg yolks with enough milk to make 2/3 cup mixture. Add to the flour mixture and toss lightly. Divide dough almost in half, roll larger portion to fit in 15 x 9 pan. Sprinkle with crushed corn flakes. Spread apples over flakes. Combine Cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle over apples. Roll out remaining dough, place on top and seal the edges. Beat egg whites until foamy and spread over top. Bake 350º for 1 hour. Cool Slightly and spread glaze over top.
