1 Large head cabbage, cut into long, 1/2" wide, pieces
6 tablespoons bacon grease
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put bacon grease and cut cabbage into a dutch oven pan. Cook on medium heat, stirring to coat all cabbage. Cook down to half it size. Add apple cider vinegar. Cook all the way down and add the salt and pepper along with the sugar. Taste as you add the salt and pepper. The longer you cook it the better it is.
