1 cup Crisco
1 cup butter
1 cup powder sugar
2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
4 cups flour-unsifted
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and butter. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together, add to mixture. Chill 1-2 hours. Roll into small balls, flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350º.
