Pinto beans, soaked overnight
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c chopped white onion
1/2 c chopped mild chilies
4 c chopped dark turkey

Directions:
Directions:
Drain and rinse pre-soaked pinto beans. Add salt and pepper, onion, chilies, and chopped turkey. Cook as usual. You can use a 4.5 quart slow cooker and cook the recipe for about eight hours on high. Check periodically to make sure it has enough water.

The dark turkey meat is a little greasier and has enough natural juice to flavor the beans like you wouldn't believe!!!
