1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 T. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
2 tsp. vegetable oil
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and cocoa. Stir in milk, nuts and oil. Spread in a square pan 9x9. Blend in a small bowl the brown sugar and cocoa. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of batter. Pour the hot water over all. Bake 45 minutes at 350° F. Serve warm or cold with cream.
