2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 c. light corn syrup
Dash of salt
1/3 c. butter
2 c. raw peanuts
2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, water, corn syrup, salt and butter until it reaches soft boil stage on candy thermometer. Add peanuts and boil until the peanuts are brown, about 300 degrees. Remove from heat, add 2 tsp. baking soda and stir until dissolved. Pour onto buttered baking sheet. Cool. Break into pieces and store in airtight container.

I made this for Clayton every Christmas until the doctor told him to limit sugar. He loved peanut brittle.
