1 stick margarine softened
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup buttermilk
2 Cups Flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs, sugar, and margarine until creamy. Add buttermilk and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Mix together thoroughly, but don’t over mix.
Roll a spoonful at a time into a figure 8. (Dough is easiest to work with if refrigerated overnight.)

Bake at 475º for 5 minutes. Place under broiler to brown tops.
