1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. drained crushed pineapple
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nutmeats

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add egg and beat. Add vanilla and pineapple; beat. Add sifted dry ingredients and beat well. Add nuts and mix thoroughly. Bake in 8x13 inch pan at 350 degrees. Cool and cut into bars.
