1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
1 egg
Flavoring
1 cup flour
Pinch of salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup sour milk
1 scant tsp. soda
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and shortening. Add egg and flavoring. Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Add to mixture alternately with sour milk in which soda has dissolved. Add enough flour to make a dough that can be rolled.
