Ingredients:  
1/4 C butter
2 T water
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
3 1/2 - 3 3/4 C powdered sugar
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Stir butter and water in a saucepan over low heat until butter melts. Remove from heat. Add salt and extract. Gradually add sugar, blending until desired consistency is reached. Add color if desired. Knead mixture until smooth. Mold into individual candy balls or form into a small rolls and slice. Dry on wax paper.
