2 cups tart cherries
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Beat egg well, add sugar. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into egg mixture. Fold in cherries. Pour batter into 2 qt. baking dish; bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Serve with Cool Whip or cream sauce.
